It’s so hard to believe that we’re coming upon the fourth anniversary of the official onset of office “Covid closures”. Even harder to believe is the difference in experience for lawyers admitted in 2020 and after. As a perfect example, I appeared this morning in federal court along with the spectacular Saman Haque (pronounced phonetically, “SomeOn Huck”).

Despite being admitted in 2020, and appearing for the past four years virtually, Saman had never appeared in court in person before today! So, captured below is her in person debut in district court. Woohoo!
